"Zusammenleben Willkommen" is a platform to connect refugees with locals who are willing to share their living space
We are convinced that refugees should not be stigmatized and excluded by being housed in mass accommodations. Instead, we should offer them a warm welcome. We believe we can establish a more humane culture of welcoming refugees! \"Zusammenleben Willkommen\" is a platform that was founded in November 2014 in Berlin to connect refugees with locals who are willing to share their living space. This can be in form of a traditional flatsharing arrangement, in a family context, with a single parent, or maybe a single person who has extra space available in their home. The core element of the concept is that some form of cohabitation is attained that displays all the advantages of living within a community.
